UCB Leasing Limited v Holtom
Court of Appeal 23 June 1987 (Times Law Report 25.6.87)

Where an Alfa Romeo car supplied under a leasing agreement was not reasonably fit for the purpose for which it was supplied (in that it had a serious electrical fault) but the hirer had lost the right to reject it, he was entitled to claim damages against the owners, such damages being equal to the amount of the instalments due under the leasing agreement less a deduction in respect of his use of the car.
